Angel Dominguez
Angel Dominguez (1953-2021) lived in Bilboa, Spain, and illustrated many books around wildlife and children’s stories. Always proud of his Basque heritage, he combined his love of Britain with his love of nature in his first children’s book, Diary of a Victorian Mouse. A professional artist since 1971, he was also a keen collector of rare children’s books, particularly those of Arthur Rackham.
Books illustrated include: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Anaconda y Otros Cuentos de La Selva, Animal Adventure Mazes, Diary of a Victorian Mouse, Journey to Freedom, Twelve Days of Christmas. He was the person we turned to to illustrated our first limited edition book - 'Purr & Feather' and went on to illustrate our 'Wind in the Willows' (2016) and 'A Christmas Carol' (2019) and 'Treasure Island' (2020).
